It starts with 10–20 ml of you.
A certified phlebotomist takes a small sample from your arm, about the same as a routine blood test. Nothing is added from outside your body.
Our signature PRP facial. We prepare platelet-rich plasma from a small sample of your blood, place it into the skin, then finish with red light. Over the following weeks, skin can look smoother, brighter and firmer.
Rated 5 stars by 100 Dublin clientsIt's PRP for the face, under our own name. The growth factors in your platelets are the signals your skin already uses to repair itself, so we concentrate them and put them where you want to see a change.
Your skin can look plumper straight away, but much of that is fluid from the plasma and it settles within days. The lasting change comes as your skin makes new collagen, which builds over the following weeks. That's why most clients book a course of three.

The tube goes into a centrifuge. Heavy red cells sink to the bottom, and the golden plasma rises to the top, with the platelets gathered just above the red layer.

We draw off the platelet-rich layer of the plasma. This is the PRP: your own plasma, holding far more platelets than the blood it came from.
Platelets carry growth factors, the proteins your body uses to repair itself after a scrape or a cut. When the PRP goes back into your skin or scalp, they release them.
Growth factors dock onto receptors on nearby cells and switch on repair work, including collagen production in the skin and activity around the hair follicle.
In the skin, fibroblasts lay down fresh collagen, so texture and fine lines can improve gradually over the following weeks.
Every treatment now ends with free red light therapy. Red and near-infrared light passes into the skin and scalp, where it's absorbed by the mitochondria: the parts of each cell that make its energy.
We use it to calm the skin after treatment, support circulation and help along the renewal your PRP has started. It's warm and painless, and you just lie back.

Results vary from person to person. Most clients need a course of treatments, and we'll talk you through what's realistic for you at your consultation.
